SRA Awards Bronze!! - <p>At the annual Student Radio Awards held in London last night Bailrigg FM was awarded bronze in the category of Best Outside Broadcast/Live Event for our coverage of the Roses weekend last May. 
<br/>

This is a fantastic achievement and huge thanks to everyone who helped make the event such a brilliant success, including our friends at University Radio York who made the trip over for the weekend.</p>

Departure Lounge - <p>From the 18th – 25th June Lancaster University Fine Art students will be showcasing their work in the Peter Scott Gallery. The exhibition promises highly diverse and fascinating art which should not be missed. Bailrigg FM will be covering the event with interviews on the Tuesday evening with the Fine Art students and members of the public to gauge the initial reaction to the exhibition.</p>

Kenny on Radio One - <p>Our Station Manager, Kenny Donohue, after winning an SRA last year for Best Male is appearing on National Radio One this weekend. During the early hours of Monday the 24th of March (Sunday night) from 2am until 3.30am Kenny will be assaulting the airwaves with his award winning banter. Be sure to tune in to catch him!<br><br>

In lighter news Bailrigg FM ceases regular scheduling today at 6pm for Easter and returns on Monday the 21st of April. You can still however catch our Matchday Live coverage of Lancaster City against Clitheroe tomorrow (Friday the 21st) at 2.45pm. Thanks for a great term everyone, and have a brilliant holiday.</p>

Do you want your thoughts to be heard or dont you even care? We aim to cover any and every opinion you have, feel free to leave a note on the wall voicing your beliefs or just come on down to Pizzetta Republic from 8pm to join in on the action.

With prizes to be won and voices to be heard, Bailrigg FM is, once again, breaking new ground in student radio.</p>

<p>Any member of LUSU can join the station (including students and staff), and get a weekly show, not to mention the opportunity to get involved in our news, sport, music or technical teams!</p>

<p>Whatever youre into, theres something to get involved in, from presenting a talk-based show (dicussing soaps, politics, sport, whatever you like!), educating the listeners about your favourite genre of music, running the stations computing or audio engineering infrastructure, commentating live on Lancaster City FC, or reviewing the latest new music before it hits the big stations.</p>

<p>The stations managed by a group of students too, and most members of LUSU are eligible to run for a position on the management committee.</p>
